Summer camp in America Review

I applied for AmeriCamp this Summer and in simple terms, I had an absolutely incredible time. The experience 100% ranks as my most memorable trip and I would advise anyone to follow my lead and do the same.
After thinking about it, I decided to apply for AmeriCamp as they offered more than any other company I could find (up to $1850) and the application fees were very cheap. I have been to America before, but I was very young and couldn’t remember too much about it, so I figured I’d head back!
I don’t regret for one minute applying for AmeriCamp; it was a great experience and I couldn’t recommend the program enough! After all, what could be better than a Summer of sport, friends and post-Camp travel?
I had a brilliant time at Camp and it was a shame to leave. However, I planned a great post-Camp trip with my new friends! We visited incredible cities, including Las Vegas, New York and San Francisco. My time in America with AmeriCamp truly was a Summer of a Lifetime.
Camp truly is a fantastic opportunity to spend time with children. I’ve been considering a career in sports coaching, so the experience gave me the nudge that I needed to take the plunge and try and progress. My experience at Camp has enabled me to gain a variety of skills. For example, my group management methods improved and I learned how to maintain the attention of the children during a coaching session, whilst teaching different abilities.
Go for it! You won’t regret it!
